fort point

didn't know this would be a place of haunted interest, just went by to take some pix since after the storm the city was humid and there was no wind. there was some interesting fog hanging around the bridge which i thought would make for good snaps. these two pix were taken one right after the other. after viewing orb evidence, it makes sense that there must have been deaths at this spot at some time in history.

haunted presidio walk

in my opening post i mentioned the haunted sf tours. in previous years i was always working at a time when i wasn't able to go or like for this one, it was booked when i tried to reserve a space. last year i reserved early and was able to make this one. in case you're interested, make a note for next year (this year is already booked!), the reservation number is 415.561.4323 ... if the weather is good like it was last year (of course you still need to bundle up, its sf!) this is a great way for adults to spend halloween night. the tour was almost two hours and does involve a bit of walking although not as much as i thought. they stay in the same basic area and visited three buildings. i took alot of photos and these were the ones with the activity in them. yippee for digital cameras as i don' t think activity is captured on film. ... from top to bottom> 1 -outside old hospital; 2,3,4,5 - inside officer's club; 6,7 - inside/outside last building don't remember name of (update: its now the Disney Museum). you can see (you'll need to enlarge the photos) an orb in the hospital snap, orbs and odd light streak in officer's club snaps, and odd light in the window (inside and out same spot) of the last building.

cliff house

after the passing of my kitty late last summer, it was hard to be home and one of the only places i could go when i really felt i was going to have a nervous breakdown, was land's end. i have always been appreciative of where i live but never more so than this period in time when the beach, the park, and the zoo became my emotional and mental safe haven's. i would rush west and stop either at the beach or land's end and just sit in my car and cry and read til it turned dark. one evening as the sun set behind the cliff house i snapped a bunch of pix because the lighting was so beautiful. i'm not a fan of the new building, but the sign at least is reminiscent of one of their buildings past and the lighting was too good to not try and capture. when i got home out of about 30-40 snaps, this was the only one with these orb spots on it. at first i thought maybe one was my kitty's spirit there with me (and the others connected spirits he brought with him), then a friend said that she thought spirits usually hang out where they had a connection. my kitty didn't like to leave the house so one of these orbs being him was then prob unlikely. i emailed the cliff house and got two replies. the first from a wiseguy probably on the food staff who said something about "the only spirits being n the bar" hahaha! luckily the other response came from a gal who indeed said there have been sightings there by staff! she requested the photo and in following emails i was told that the staff had felt presences in a certain downstairs area and that it had been caught on the security cameras.

got ghosts?

i love the fall. i usually say i love halloween, and while its true, my favorite thing about the fall is pumpkins. pumpkins, gourds, the colors of fall. once you get your fall decoration groove on, its time to think about halloween. as an adult, halloween itself holds a couple fav activities, boo at the zoo (sf for me, your local one probably has a similar event) and haunted sf tours. my interest in paranormal activity started very young as my mother instigated ouija board sessions with herself, my friend and i. today the ouija board has a bit of a stigma among spiritual purists, and from what i've been told, rightly so, but then it was the 70s and we were nothing more than amateur enthusiasts. many years ago i had some experiences in my home, that made me a believer more than ever. ... i did a search today on haunted san francisco and came up with the same places and same descriptions for places that are said to be haunted in my hometown, but none were actual accounts. so i'm starting this blog in hopes that some of those "saids" turn into "says" and we can get some proof posted here. if you have stories or photos you'd like to share, please feel free to contact me. ... most photos will need to be expanded to see what i see!
