today my friend nica and i got to feed the giraffes at the zoo! it was the coolest, and a long awaited return of doing so! my first time was many years ago when they used to let folks do it on members event night. being zoo regulars, the keeper invited us down to give the friends special treats! after posting my pix to facebook, nica said "one of your pix has the spots like some of mine do." i took a closer look and said "those aren't spots, those are orbs!" ... first pic there are several in the air around the fencing. second pic there is one on the bridge of the giraffe's nose.
